Nature, for real
Welcome to Styrnäs in Ångermanland.
Genuine, authentic, in the heart of northern Swedish nature. Forest bathing.
Here you can wander through the forest for hours without meeting another person.
With sparkling, star-clear skies in winter, and dancing northern lights. It is quiet, still, dark, and cold.
When the snow has fallen, the silence becomes even deeper, and you feel small beneath the stars.
The ice grows thick on the lake; it is dug out from under the snow, and a hole is cut for an ice bath.
In spring, everything seems to be about water. Streams, rivers, lakes, the waterfalls in Viätt and Sjö rush and roar.
There are vast forests here; the lichen on the trees bears witness to clean, fresh air.
It is calm and peaceful, with bright summer nights that never seem to end.
In autumn, the colours are intense. With both deciduous and coniferous trees, the contrasts are strong.
The forests burn with colour, and the air is crisp, clear, and easy to breathe.
Northern Sweden, a land of contrasts.
