Payment terms

If you book directly, meaning not through a booking platform, you will receive a contract with terms and payment details once your booking is confirmed.

  • Payment is made by bank transfer to Handelsbanken or via Swish.
  • If the booking is made more than seven days before arrival, a deposit of 20% of the total amount is required.
  • If the booking is made seven days or less before arrival, the full amount is due at the time of booking.

Cancellation policy

Our policy follows standard practice for holiday rentals.

Low season, flexible policy

  • Full refund up to seven days before arrival
  • 50% refund after that
  • No refund for cancellations made 48 hours or less before arrival

High season, moderate policy

Christmas, New Year and the period from Midsummer through August:

  • Full refund 30 days before arrival
  • 50% refund 14 days before arrival
  • No refund during the final week before arrival

If you need to cancel

You may be entitled to compensation through your home insurance if it includes travel cover. This usually means:

  • Cancellation protection often applies only if the trip is of a certain minimum length, for example two to three nights
  • It does not cover a simple change of mind
  • It does not cover weather conditions
  • A medical certificate or documented event is normally required
