We offer two accomodations and donuts, comfortable Torpet i Sjö and the wilderness experience Hundsjön. Both are located individually in beautiful Styrnäs in Ångermanland, where you´re close to nice walking paths, swimming area and lot of fishing waters. Ideal if you want to stay in peace and quiet but still close to the High Coast!
Our guests usually appreciate the stillness, the little sauna and proximity to Skule and the High Coast.
Both Torpet and Hundsjön have rooms for up to eight or ten guests and are only rented out to whole companys – that means you´ll be alone at your stay.
Our rental is based on great personal commitment, for you as a guest, for our accommodations and for sustainable nutrition all year round in rural areas. We want you and your company to have your integrity but still feel our consideration, that we´re always just a text message or a phone call away.
Tip! Follow us on Facebook (Torpet i Sjö) and Instagram (@torpetisjo).
Torpet is the fully equipped and comfortable house, located high on a mountain and within walking distance to the lovely Dämstasjön. With a completely unobstructed location you can enjoy a coffee cup on the porch with the unique waterfall as candy for both eyes and ears.
Outside the house, the beautiful gutefår (an old sheep breed) are living all year round. In the garden there is a barbecue area, a small gazebo, garden land, greenhouse and a wood-fired sauna. Down by the lake you have access to a boat.
Hundsjön has a unique location. Here you live as close to the water as you can come, individually, primitive and stunningly beautiful. Take the boat out for a fishing trip in the late summer evening, or just sit and enjoy the view and the silence on the porch.
Here you live wilderness life. The bigger cottage is good equipped and has a sink, but you get the dishing water from the lake, we fill up the tubs with drinking water for you. Old-fashion toilet outside. On the other hand, you have access to a wood-fired sauna from where you can jump right out into the lake, and there are two porches which one of them goes out over the water.
